The Saratoga Springs Recreation Soccer Program runs two separate soccer seasons. The FALL program, during September and October attracts over 350 children, while the SPRING season, during the months of April, May and June has over 400 players. Registration for the FALL season usually occurs during June and July while SPRING registration takes place during winter months. Please check the web site and watch for advertisements as the dates near.
The Saratoga Springs Recreation Department runs an indoor soccer program in conjunction with The First Touch Futbol Academy held at the Saratoga Springs Recreation Center. This program allows our younger players (3-8) to continue playing the game of soccer indoors when we are forced to go indoors due to the cold weather.
Recreation Soccer is a non-result oriented soccer league. Scores are not maintained. Standings are not kept. This is consistent with guidelines set up by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) for ages 10 and under. The non-results model is used for the older ages as well. Every match brings a clean slate, and new challenges.
Divisions and teams are set based on birthdays. Please use the chart below to determine what group your child will participate in based on their birthday.
